If you want any hope of improving your body, you need to learn the use of diet to gain muscle.  After all, if your body doesn’t get the proper foods, your muscles can’t grow.  One very important thing about diet that people often forget is that what you drink can affect your health, just like what you eat.  Sodas, for example, are a horrible drink choice for those trying to get in shape.  What should you drink as an alternative?  Well, water or protein shakes are great, if you want something that is both healthy and flavorful. When it comes to diets to gain muscle, another thing to do is to avoid eating junk food.  Eating fatty foods and empty calories is, after all, not the way to build muscles.  All junk foods do is tire you out and slow you down. What you should eat are foods that contain carbohydrates and proteins.  When muscles are torn during workouts, proteins are what repair them.  Meanwhile, carbohydrates give a person the much needed energy to workout.  So, if you are planning to put your body through the daily rigors of bodybuilding, it’s very important that you are eating the right foods
