In the case of bodybuilding, only size, symmetry and body shape are the determining factors in competitions. Competitive bodybuilding is where bodybuilders strive to achieve appealing physique in order to meet the standards of the bodybuilding profession as well as emerge victorious. The way they pose has a lot of influence on how they are judged. This makes them spend a lot of time practicing. This contrasts with strongman competitions, also known as power lifting where the only requirement is physical strength.
